Whether you were chasing romance on the beaches of Renesse, dancing under the open stars at Club Ku in Ibiza, or losing yourself in the grandeur of Baia Imperiale in Riccione, the vibe was universal.
DJ Marko invites you to unlock the ultimate time capsule with Disco Top 15 Part 3. This wasn’t just a playlist; it was the soundtrack to a cultural shift. 1987 was the year polished synthesizers met the raw energy of early House music.
This mix is a sonic journey back to those humid, electric nights where the beat dictated your heartbeat. It features the undeniable pop royalty of Michael Jackson and Madonna, the Stock Aitken Waterman domination of Rick Astley, and the groundbreaking sample-heavy sounds of M.A.R.R.S. that changed dance music forever.
From high-energy dance anthems to the smooth R&B grooves that cooled down the floor, this mix captures the pure euphoria of the late 80s. Forget today. Press play, turn the volume up, and step back onto the dance floor of your youth.
Enjoy the ride!

He played school parties at 12 years old, was a DJ at a pirate radio station, started playing in discos at 16, and got booked for his first international gig at 17 years old. His passion for telling a story and his ambition of taking the audience on a journey does not make him the most accessible, but more of an acquired taste. His mix tapes became quite popular both in Holland and abroad. Now through the magic of the Nakamichi, we can enjoy those sounds again like they were recorded yesterday.
